ATA Cases
Our cases go beyond “standard”
Originally developed in 1960 by the Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the ATA 300 specification is considered the standard for effective protective air-freight packaging. Since 1960, materials and manufacturing standards have improved. Although the minimum requirements of ATA 300 still hold true, all of the cases we manufacture meet or exceed this standard to help ensure the longest possible service life.
Pak-Rite’s high-quality, custom ATA cases are designed to protect and repetitively transport high-value, sensitive, and delicate equipment and instruments to trade shows, customer demos, sales presentations, customer training, music or sporting events, or for field repair.
At Pak-Rite, every case is designed and built to meet a unique need. Our engineers are experts at designing a case for how it will be used, transported, accessed and stored. Because of our extensive experience, we can help you select the right components and provide ideas to improve the packaging to reduce risk of damaging your equipment and make transporting easier.
A case style for every shipping & storage need.
Clamped lid cases have a top lid that is secured with latches on multiple sides, enabling the lid to be completely removed for easier access.
Similar to clamped lid cases, pull-over lid cases have a removable lid, except the lid is the biggest section of the case. Pull-over lids provide the most access to your equipment and are ideally suited for heavy or bulky items that need to be manually lifted out of the case.
Split lid cases are a popular choice for storing large items. These cases have lids that come off in separate parts, making it easier to handle the lid providing ergonomic access to large items.
These cases have a lid that is hinged and swings open from the top, like a standard trunk. Ideal for parts, tools and other items that are relatively light and can be easily lifted from the top.
These versatile, ergonomically friendly cases allow for ease of access to the front of the case. Combo Lid ATA Cases can be set up in a range of configurations. Lids and doors can be converted to ergonomic ramps or convenient folding tables.
These vertical cases have a swinging door secured by a full-length piano-style hinge. Swing door cases can be configured with shelves, drawers, foam blocking and more.
